Intensive Care Unit

The ICU is currently outdated, dark and crowded. A new unit will be expanded and relocated in the East building's shelled-in space.

• New location is closer to Emergency and Surgery (quicker response time)
• Larger bed areas allow space for new technology and family members
• New design has improved patient privacy/dignity and enhanced infection control
• Quiet areas for patients with cardiac conditions
• Large windows increase patient well-being
