New construction = 75,650 sq. ft.
Renovations = 38, 349 sq. ft.
Construction and renovations to the existing East Building includes site development , site servicing and a new parking lot.
Construction of the new building (North Wing) includes tie-ins to the existing building, new electrical room, Sterile Processing and distribution, Emergency Department, Medical Imaging (X-Ray) and Surgery.

Construction Tmeline:

The Redevelopment project was awarded to Melloul-Blamey Construction on December 21, 2007
The "Wall-Smashing" event signified construction start - January 10, 2008
Construction of a new driveway will begin the week of Feb. 4th, 2008
Hoarding of existing Cambria Street Visitors and Conestoga parking lots will begin as early as Feb. 19th, 2008. The Tower Crane will be onsite.
The contractor bid on a 85-week schedule - Completion Summer of 2009.
